Here is your checklist of how to look your best in lingerie. Print it out and use it for those special occasions, or, even better, every day.
It is very easy to change looks from bad to excellent. You just need to adopt some habits that will do their jobs.
Important Steps You Should Take
Firstly, you need to remember that in order to look great, you need to start changing your habits.
You cannot start to look amazing in one day, try change your bad habits to good ones. It is not as hard as it sounds!
1. Every evening have a warm shower, and then finish off by cold water. This will make your skin tighter and slimmer. Your body eventually will become toned. Also, use body scrub at least once
a week to get rid of all those dead cells that make your skin look dull. For every day, use shower gel (gentle one) with body buffing cloth which is ideal to reveal youthful looking skin.
Once a week, treat yourself with nice hot bath with body salts and make a nice facial for yourself - you don't have to go to the professional - you can do that at home too. Or at least put some refreshing or relaxing facial mask.
2. After the shower, treat your whole body with moisturizer. This will make your skin glow. I like to use moisturizer with self-tan ingredients, which add gorgeous glow and tan to my fair skin. If you have fair skin too, try it out! Also, if you have thighs and bum that need work, try to use body toning lotions or creams.
3. Exercise at least 30 min five days a week. Your body will become toned and your curves will become more obvious. Try to exercise all your body, concentrating on the bits you do not like.
4. Completely remove all unwanted hair. Take time to remove hair from face, legs, armpits, and bikini area. Some women do not know how to remove hair from bikini area. Here is the advice: the best way to do this is to get it waxed in a salon. Usually, salons make three types of bikini area waxing: 1. Bikini Line (only bikini line is waxed). This costs around £10 to £15. 2. Full Bikini (only strip of hair is remained unwaxed.) This will cost you £13-£18. 3. Brazilian (this is a full waxing, no hair is left). It usually costs £18-£25. Firstly, it may hurt when waxing is being done, but the more you do it, the less it will hurt!
5. Make Up. Well applied make up always enhances your good facial features and hides the not so good ones. The basic rules for applying stunning make up are as follows:
Firstly, prepare your face for make up. Use facial scrub to remove all dead skin cells, then apply facial mask and finally moisturize your skin with a good quality cream or lotion.
Remove excessive eyebrow hairs. Pluck all unnecessary hairs out. The same applies to the lip area, just I advice to use hair removal strips on this face part.
Depending on your type of skin, apply light/medium/full coverage foundation. Cover all the flaws with the concealer. Especially for foundations, powders and concealers, use only quality brands as cheap brands will look really fake - and you don't want anyone to tell that you wear foundation.
Highlight some facial features like just below the eyebrows, cheeks and decolte - it will look very sexy and fresh.
Define your eyes with mascara and black pencil or eyeliner - whichever you like more.
Use light lip gloss or lipstick. Do not overdo it.
6. Wear only your type of lingerie. Every body type looks gorgeous in different underwear. I have written a great deal about that in my previous article about different body types.
Also consider colors. Don't just pick whatever color you like, firstly think whether that particular color enhances your look in any way.
