Suzanne Zacharia from the UK provides this creative use of EFT. Hi Gary, I have just given a Level 1 workshop during which we found an unusual use for EFT. I was observing two students doing a treatment using the Movie Technique. "M" was practicing on "K", and after the treatment, I remarked that K looked younger. She actually looked 5 years younger than at any point since she had arrived. As a result, M asked for her issue to be wrinkles, and K practiced on her. In keeping with the exercise, K did something I would never have thought of (I learn so much from my students) and used the Movie Technique in the following way. K started with "Tell me a story about these wrinkles, as if it's a movie on a TV in front of you". M began telling about looking in the mirror in the morning, and K asked her to stop and and assess her 0-10 intensity on this issue. It was about 5. Then K did the treatment using the Setup of "Even though I have this 'see more wrinkles feeling', I truly love and accept myself" and the Reminder phrase of "See more wrinkles", and simply carried on like that, using the full Basic Recipe and the shortcut ending in the Karate Chop point, and adding "this remaining..." to the "see more wrinkles" in subsequent rounds, until the intensity was 0 and the whole movie of looking at the mirror registered an intensity of 0. By the way, I liked K's use of "truly" in the Setup too. As a result, M's forehead lifted slightly and she looked about 2 years younger after the treatment. Naturally, they asked me how it worked, so I did some quick thinking and the answer was clear. I think it works very much like Botox does, but without the Botox, by taking out the emotional frown factor. The results endured for the rest of their stay. Although I am not sure how much longer the results will hold, it's certainly a great beauty treatment before a party or important social event.
